Shoofra shoes display window design

The way light is absorbed or reflected from surfaces gives us a vast amount of information. Light reveals to us secrets about matter and space, from things at the tip of our nose to the birth of the universe. It provides us with contexts of direction, time, sensation. The influence of light radiates on the external environment and the internal sensation. We are used to thinking that light is perceived by our body only through the eye, but in fact, almost all the organs in our body are affected by the quality, quantity, and periodicity of light. When we wrap and frame this wonder in a lighting body, it gives us endless performances and changes the space from end to end.

The shoe brand “Shoofra” approached us to design a new showcase window for the store in the Sharonim mall store, after we designed a window for them in the Tel Aviv Sheinkin store. For the new design, we wanted to create a play of light and shadow that would give the observer a feeling of water, tranquility, and calm, as Shoofra’s shoes are framed and floating within pools of light.
